General questions about learning the sport!

I have a few questions for you fellas:

1. Are there any informational videos/podcasts to listen(!) to while I crank out spreadsheets at work? I want to learn as much about the game as possible. Is the barstool foreplay pod informational?

2. How the hell do I learn about all of these clubs I keep seeing on this sub? They are beautiful but I have no idea how to gauge how well they perform or are supposed to other than googling the price and saying "hmm, $130 club.. that must be a great clubs"

3. Do balls and tees matter? Should I just grab a bunch off of Craigslist or look for good deals on the popular fancy ones? For example I was looking at the amazon basics 100 pack of tees for $5-10 but was told plastic are better?

4. Do I need golf shoes? Will Nike free runs work if it's not wet out?

5. And lastly.. are the Callaway strattas considered overly nooby? I just got them for a good price but the bag just looks like I'll be getting judged on the course - should I look on Craigslist for a $50 or so name brand bag?
