Switching consoles with D2. Anyone else?

So I played all of Destiny 1 on PS4. It was my preferred platform for the longest time, because it launched cheaper, with slightly better hardware and focused on games, not Kinect or being a DVR. But I've barely played Destiny in the past year and many of my friends have moved on.

So with D2 launching I had a choice: stick with PS4 or switch it up with XB1. This was decided by a few factors:

• Exclusives. These are dumb. Destiny doesn't need the marketing funding at this point from Sony. I could understand them for under 6 months but a full year is pure dickery.
• Sony's resistance to cross-platform play with XB1 or PC outside of a few exceptions. Sony knows it has the current sales advantage and thus will draw more customers who want to play it their friends. But this just screws gamers.

Disclaimer: while XB1 currently has the moral high ground there is a strong chance they'd do the exact same thing if they were leading in sales. But I can only go by actions.

So yeah I'm switching to Xbox since I have one.

Thoughts?

Edit: long term, I'm probably switching to PC. But for what will probably be my last bit of console gaming this is what I'll probably do.
