The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. The Silver Linings Playbook. Room.
All three are told with a unique narrative voice. The first two are told through the lens of mental illness (autism and bipolar disorder, respectfully) and the third by a 5-year-old who has never left the room he was born in.
I read all of these within 24 - 48 hours of starting them (I read SLP in almost one continuous sitting) and loved the perspectives the authors share with the reader. So I'm looking for unique 1st person narratives.
