Debut of the switch app!!!!!!

So a very limited version of the switch app is coming soon. Splatoon is the only game functionality it will have to start.

But do we know if it will have any out of game functionality to start? Like... simply show if any friends are on their switch, etc..? What would y'all like to see ?
