UT Austin Spring Admission Essay

Helloo everyone. I am applying for UT Austin and have to write two essays, one example is 'What was the environment in which you were raised? Describe your family, home, neighborhood or community, and explain how it has shaped you as a person.'

I am just wondering, it only gives you a maximum word count, so how many words is suitable? I wrote 550 ish is this too little for one essay?
