What is the one pokemon you have a fondness for, unrelated to stats or battle superiority?

An odd question but one I think is interesting.

So my answer to this is the Turtwig evolution line. Because it was what got me to try pokemon Moon. Let me explain.

I tried other pokemon games (fire-red on a emulator) but it had too much grinding for my liking, so after that I decided pokemon wasn't for me and moved on. Then one day while I was in class I was messing around with some modeling clay. I ended up making a sea turtle with a palm tree on it's back. ( Side note: I still have the thing.) Then some avid pokemon player friends I have came over and said "Hey that looks like Turtwig." So I relooked into it and saw that, while there was no alolan turtwig, Moon got rid of a lot of the things I didn't like about the previous games. Thank god for xp-share. And when I got my game, the first thing I did was make a trade...for turtwig.

So, what is your fondest pokemon?
