Applying to multiple Peace Corps Response posts

Hi all,

I am waiting to hear back on whether I'll be selected for a Peace Corps Response post (already completed interview, my references were submitted, etc.). I am considering applying to one or two other posts in the meantime as a back up. Does anyone know if this could harm my chances to get offered my first choice role in any way (one of the roles that I'm looking at would be in the same country, so I think that the same recruiter would receive my application)? And would my references, medical form, language assessment, etc. carry over? I'd hate to bother my references with another request before I hear back on the first role.
