Advice for Retail/CPD Associate Newbie

Sorry bit of a rant

I've been working at my OD for about a month now and starting off in CPD has overwhelmed me more than I could have imagined. I can somewhat manage myself now but it's starting to get to me that I'm not "catching on" as well as my other associates did. I've made huge mistakes in CPD my first couple of days and working on the sales floor has been confusing. I'm anxious when I come to work because I'm afraid that I'll make another mistake. Even when my CSM gives me a simple task I'm overthinking it and not asking the right questions

This is my first time in retail and at the moment we're bringing in a new SM and I heard they're planning to hire new CPD associates

Other associates seem to steer clear of me and they are somewhat serious around me

I'm worried that I'll lose my job

Not sure what to do or how to feel
