[Feature] John Wayne Biopic, Act I, 29 pages (drama)

Logline:

The true story of how John Wayne went from a B-actor to a western star under the guidance of the tyrannical director John Ford and tried to atone for his lack of service in World War II by becoming the ultimate military man on the screen.

Appreciate the feedback on the direction my script is going through Act I. I will submit more of the script later, but wanted to get some thoughts on the start as I continue with the latest draft.
