Electrical outlet near my pc, is this safe?

This is just the case, btw, it's empty inside. http://i.imgur.com/ymoGsp7.jpg The outlet is awkwardly placed in comparison to my desk. Is this safe or should I move things around? That's my surge protector plugged in there btw
