How do I transition my vills to gold and stone in feudal efficiently?

I always see people having lots of vills on gold and stone at the start of castle age, while I only have like 3-5 on gold and 0 on stone. What should I do?

Also I click up to feudal with 25-26 vills and click up to castle with 30-35 vills
