I'm getting the feeling that I'm just a low-quality poster

Well, commentator would be the more appropriate title, but anyways, I only have had one situation where I have had positive feedback or conversation arise from my comments. Only other couple of time, where I was just talking to the wind, I've been down-voted by one or two. I'm not a troll, I don't think of myself as one, but maybe I'm just socially inept here.

I'd wish to have some sort of discussion on the phenomenon of karma, the collective varying attitude about what is deserving and undeserving, or whatever is relevant here. What really is "low-quality content" in application to posts. Am I just a social retard?

Anyways. Been here a year and was hoping I'd be able to just roll into becoming a Redditor, but alas I'm wrong.
