Amazing Spider-man on PS3 or ASM2 on PS3/4?

After watching Homecoming, I've been really wanting to play a Spidey game. I remember the Amazing Spider-Man games being enjoyable enough, pretty cheap too.

However, looking at some of the reviews again, general consensus is that the ASM2 game is way worse than the first one. Is this true? Because if so, no problem, I can just buy the first one on PS3.

Also, they weirdly seem to be almost trying to delete the existence of ASM2 on PS4. People have said all the DLC is gone and I can't find it in searches on the PS store. Is this a sign that maybe I should just get the first one?
