Can we all take a moment to marvel at the weirdness of the human brain?

I went through Marine Corps bootcamp and three deployments to Iraq (support role, no real combat) and never had anything that I couldn't play off as 'normal highs and lows'. Then out of nowhere at age 25 have my first severe episode.

Now 9 years, 120 total days of rehab, and probably a dozen med combo's later- I feel better than ever thanks to a medication designed to prevent seziures.

Like seriously, WTF brain?
