How to add pre-existing video addons to songs?

I am fairly new to this game, sorry about the dumb question. But how can I add the videos that I have downloaded from song packs. Some say I need to edit the song in-game and some say I need to change the step file. And where do i put the downloaded songs. To the "Song" file? I don't know pls help. Thanks!
