Wild price range question

Hey, so I'm trying to buy the prismacolor soft core colored pencil set of 72 for a friend (read: I don't know what I'm doing here). And I'm just curious why online there is a wide price range for this product (~30$ from Walmart and up to 135$ from Michaels). Why is there such a discrepancy? Any help much appreciated.
