Better SMB SAMBA File browser?

The finder is shit for accessing network file shares. I'd rather use AFS or NFS but I can't seem to find an inexpensive good one that can handle 3-4 USB drives over gigabit ethernet. Are there any good apps that have a better implementation of the protocol?

I know for my iPad, the File Explorer (not very original name) app is actually quite excellent at going into shares and is pretty reliable. Wish something like that existed for my Mac.
