Ocean City, Maryland Vacation

I will be vacationing in Ocean City, MD in a month and I'm looking to do some fishing while I'm there on the bay side. I have 3 freshwater poles with spinning reels and a baitcaster. So, I have a bunch of questions: -Do I need a special rod/reel for the water on the bay side?

• What are some of the popular fish species in the bay and what bait/hooks should I use/do you recommend?
• Is there any fish worth keeping out of the bay that are good to eat?
• Are there any decent spots for public access?
