[M4F] A Warrior's Desire

The traveler’s sword pierced the earth as he collapse upon it, exhausted from battle with the beast of the woods. His blood no longer ran warm as it poured from his wounds down his fit form. Time was not luxury of his anymore. But, he couldn't die here. Letting his body be savaged by cruel jaws of nature. Rotting in abject nothingness. His legacy becoming a mere myth. Fading to a dim whisper matching his weakening heartbeat. And just as death’s chilling embrace was about to seize it's latest reward, the ever-resilient warrior stood with renewed vigor. As if he would let himself be forgotten. He didn’t slay a tri-horned wolf demon out of the kindness of his heart. Why be a bounty hunter and avoid the glory? That thought danced in his head with the rhythm of his blade sawing the head of the beast from its body before departing to look for the closest village. A village he wasn't even sure existed but he trudged on. His trophy in hand. His pride fueling his bodily will. A freed mess of dreads obscuring his vision though fortunately a solid cover as the rain began to fall.

He arrived at an old but upkept temple. He stumbled through the door hoping to find someone to either heal him or at least be a witness to his feat. Unfortunately there was no one there but a large jewel adorned statue of the region's deity. A goddess who long ago protected the forest but whose presence has faded from the land. The demon hunter fell before the statue not for prayer but reprieve. His head laid at the feet of the Goddess while his eyes locked with her descending gaze. He had finally found his witness.

This is where you enter. You can be a girl from a nearby village who comes to my aid, a witch in need for a bodyguard but uses unconventional means, or maybe you're the goddess who takes pity on the lone warrior. The choice is yours and discussion of events is highly encouraged as in the discussion I’ll reveal more about my preferences.
