My parents want to watch CNN, TSN and sportsnet live, in decent quality with DVR capabilities and also have tons of movies at their fingertips.

What's the cheapest solution for this? Currently they have all this with Rogers and they pay about $70 for it (plus ~$6 per movie on the worlds shittiest UI and player).

Is it even possible right now to have an internet based live TV and movie library solution comparable with Rogers?
