I find that I seem to go against the subs opinion often.

Discussion

This is just something I've noticed having spent so much time in the sub. I'll often find myself at odds with the subreddit consensus, and it annoys me, so I figured I'd list them off, because why not.

  1. I. Hate. The Japanese flags. Hate them, loath their existence. They look dull and corporate, and not at all flag like. Really, they aren't any better then a seal-on-a-bedsheet. Yet people praise these things time and again. I know, opinions, but still. In general I find that I'm not very fond of overly minimalist flags, often preferring more complex designs.

  2. I fucking adore the US flag. People here say that's an unpopular opinion, but it's not. Anyone here who has a negative opinion of the US flag design gets pretty highly upvoted what my experience, and I just don't get it. To me, it's a fantastic flag. It follows the general principles of flag design, and I feel that it's far too hated here.

  3. I like seals honestly. I know that the ideas of any writing or seal gives people here heart attacks, but I quite like them. I could never remove the text from the flag of California or Brazil for example, and I think that done of the SOB state flags are better than others.

  4. Something I've come to notice is that the users here seem often socialist. And keep in mind, this is coming from a leftist themselves, but it's something I've seen many times here.

Sorry I'd this comes off as rambly and pointless, but I've just been feeling annoyed about it and figured why not. Feel free to argue with me about it.
