Patio painting mistake, need help!

We painted my patio with the Prolux Cetol SRD RE woodstain which is supposed to be a one coat stainer.

Unfortunately, we applied a second coat to the patio the day after and now it has a thick sticky sheen instead of a matte finish.

Does anyone know what to do to fix this? It's been 3 days since we finished...
