Washing Your Darts?

We've all heard about scrubbing your darts right? Gets off all the dead skin and other build up. So... I washed my darts last night with warm soap and water and scrubbed them with a toothbrush.

Tried playing a few matches against the computer and royally sucked! My darts were WAY to grippy and kept sticking to my fingers. I quit after the 2nd 5-1 bashing I took. Did hit a 149 out as my only leg in the 1st match. But wasn't as great as it seems. I was on 186 the previous turn haha

But yeah, I won't be washing my darts again anytime soon. You guys/girls do that?
