student loans help

I am currently trying to attend college, but I am having trouble with getting government student aid. My school does not participate in student loans. I've tried many times to get a student loan, but since my school does not participate in loans I can't do anything. Any advice? is there away to get a private student loan without the school getting involved? I had to pay 1500 out of pocket last semester and I had to use credit cards. I'am 21, I have a good credit score. I work full time 40-45 hours a week and I financially support my mom and sister. Any advice will help!
