Tips for reverse culture shock going back to USA from Asia ?

I'm an Asian American digital nomad who's ran into a sudden hostile legal circumstance which will force me to go back home to the USA , stay with my family for a bit , work a "regular " job (UI UX designer here / and inbound marketer ). I speak 4 languages if that matters .

I'm happy to see my family though .

So I've been away from the USA for more than a year , and on my recent vacation to Canada I was just as cultured shocked .

For those with this experience , what are your tips ? I'm having a ton of anxiety about going back next month.

  1. Cause Ima play the corporate job for a while but hopefully it's remote (I'm going to California )
  2. Asia is just 100x more exciting and different . I haven't been around Americans since forever .
