Did anyone else channel get deleted by Google?

I know this is way past due but it's something I never got over.

Back when Google bought YouTube it was prompting everyone to link your Google+ account with you YouTube account. I put it off for a month or so, but one day I accidentally clicked "yes". Once the page had refreshed my entire channel was gone and all my videos were "unavailable". I tried to get in contact with Google, but no response. All these years later and I still feel upset about it.

Has this happened to anyone else?
