Match Making Feedback

Yes this is a bit of a rant, but I'm soliciting advice or feedback possibly.

2 hours. For 2 hours I played on NA East today. I played all tanks (no artillery) in tiers 5, 7, and 8. In every single one of those matches, I was the placed in the lowest tier of the match.

Of course this is frustrating because, despite how much XP you earn and how much you can impact, you ultimately are reliant on those top tier tanks. And, unfortunately, that means I'm losing more games than I'm winning.

I was under the impression that the matchmaking upgrade was to identify when you are not a top tier tank and place you in a match as top tier after so long? Is there some setting I've overlooked? Constant losing teams kills the fun-factor.

Am I alone in this? Am I doing something wrong? What are you all seeing with this?
