HOI4 should give more insight on the civilian life?

Suggestion

Warning ! Long post ahead!

Someone just posted a thread asking about demilitarizing the countries after the World War. I came up with a similar idea but different enough to be posted in a separate thread.

In HOI4 you've got little to no way to know how your citizens are doing. I'll take Russia as a prime example (As they are one of my favourite countries to play as). You just sabilized your country and started gaining back your lost territories. You declare war on Mitteleuropa and you (obviously) win. You look at how all of Europe is now your puppet, but how is population doing?

I mean, sure, you can presume that the ammount of factories you have is a good sign of your country being rich and prosperous, but humans don't usually eat rifles and tanks at dinner, do they?

Basically there is no way to find out how the life of the average citizen is like, what people think about the war and all that. The end of a war is completely swallow and doesn't feel like you fought a war, it's more like winning a game of chess.

I was thinking about maybe adding some events at the end of the major wars informing the player of the situation of the citizens based on how long the war was, how many casualties there were, how much territory you gained (even though everyone will go for full annexation).

Let me give you 2 examples : You are playing as the German Empire and the Communard declared war on you. You knew that was going to happen and your army was fully prepared. You just emerged victorious and your troops are once again marching through Paris. The war was quick with very little casualties on your side. The British and the French governments were puppeted and now answer directly to the Kaiser.

You should get an event reflecting that, kinda like : "When the war started, everyone was afraid of what will come after that. Many people thought this was the end of the German nation. Many women were almost sure that their sons, husbans, brothers will never come home ever again. However, they were never more far away from the truth. A was which many thought will be the bloodiest ended up in only a couple of months with minimal casualties on our side. Many families were reunited and the German population is now enjoying luxuries like never before thank's to the Communard's factories now under our control"

The second example : Again, you are playing as the German Empire. The Communard declared war on you. This caught you completely by surprise, your army was not fully equiped and no way ready for an invasion of such scale. Many civilian factories had to be converted and people were taken away from their families in order to protect the empire. With the help of the Austrians and the rest of Mitteleuropa, in the end you emerge victorious, but at a very high cost, losing millions of soldiers.

The news article should now sound something like this : "Everyone was content that Communard's warnings were nothing but empty words, their military power being much weaker than they try to make it be. When the war was declared, however, everyone was shocked. People were taken away from their families without any warning. Men, even teenagers were drafted into the military to protect the country. Even though at first the French advancement seemed unstoppable, in the end the German Empire turned out to be victorious. However, this cost us greatly. Most of our major cities were bombed to dust, most of our people losing their homes. The casualties were bigger than we could ever imagine. Millions of germans died in that war, millions of families ruined. We may have won the war, but at what cost?

However, this shouldn't rely only on news articles. There should be actual national spirits reflecting this. I really hope this thread won't just be lost in the sea. If you read this far, please tell me your opinion on this!
