Help needed, saves not loading

Hello there, I have recently picked up KOTOR II and have been enjoying it deeply. Aside from the with cutscenes in which my PC minimises the game for some reason, I have had no bugs or issues so far. However after beating Master Kavar and letting Talia die, I suffered a CTD and thusly have been only been able to partially load my saves, with it never being completed. Could anyone provide solutions to this issue?
