Pc is crashing, used to happen a lot, then it stopped, now it's happening again. Help?
When I first got my computer, it was fine. Everything worked perfectly. Eventually, it started crashing. Not blue screening, but literally freezing up and forcing me to turn it off by holding the power button. To fix it, I did a complete reset of my computer. I thought it was fixed, but recently it's been crashing again and I don't know what to do. I don't want to reset again because that was clearly a temporary fix.
The crash goes like this: Every time I'm done playing a game, or I'm in a call on discord, my computer drops the call, or I start reconnecting to the match if I'm playing a multiplayer game. Then, it completely freezes up, can't move my mouse or anything, and the audio loops for a while. It stops looping the audio eventually but it's still frozen, so I have to press the power button to turn it off. I don't know why this happens, and it's very frustrating.
Here are my specs:
Intel HD 520 (Not the best but it gets the job done)
Intel Core i5-6200u (2.3 GHz)
6 gigs of RAM
Windows 10 64 bit
If you need more info I can provide some. Please, I really have no clue what to do.
