Extraction of morphine from opium?

Im thinking of chucking q huge bag of poppy seeds in a field near by and say i had a pill press, is there a easy extraction of alkaloids most importantly morphine into a crude powder i can drop in a press and make seperated doses. Plus would it be ok to plant poppies this time of year?
