How did Oceanic get ONE vote in the old poll? So we're never gonna see that?

Yeah, I'm a bit late here. Won't lie. Been playing Smite on and off for awhile but my friend got me heavily into it when I got my PC.

So, after playing a bit I asked him when do you think we'd get Polynesian mythology? It'd be pretty cool!

"Probably not for awhile if ever since it finished near last in a poll." I don't get why. Did people not know the basis it covered? The unique characters? I could make this a rant thread, but first off: I know it's not allowed and my opinions on the Celtic pantheon are irrelevant.

My main question and point is: Will we see any Hawaiian or Polynesian Gods?

Missing out on characters like Maui, Pele, Apukohai. Tawhiri, Kamapua'a, none of these characters will make it in? No matter how unique they'd play? The only one I feel like that would be heavily similar in a sense would be Maui. Only because you'd need to give ANOTHER character the power to hit transformations. Though, it could be done differently.

So are we ever going to see them? Does anyone have ANY idea if the devs ruled it out or ignored it or acknowledged it? I'm going to be honest: If the wait is going to be years due to it being near the end for whatever reason and we have to wait through many different pantheons then I might as well take a long break. While I love the game, and love learning the lore and playing as different characters through mythology, it was pretty discouraging to see where one of your favorite ones end up.
