What to do with the $1000 I saved up?

It's just sitting in my BoFa savings account now and I figured there would be more creative and productive ways to see my money grow. Should I invest it using those investing apps? (I'm currently using Stash and so far I've been earning back 1% ever since my initial investment around a month ago)
