[Update] I don't want my brother and sister in law moving in...

OTHER

Well, I tried talking to my parents today, and it turned into my dad yelling at me about having Duke at all in the first place since he's a financial risk, as well as him treating me like I'm stupid.

I don't know what I expected, but it looks like my Great Dane and I will just be spending a lot of time hanging out in my room or away from the house.

I know a lot of people suggested staying at school later, but I already commute an hour one way, spend three hours in class, and just in general spend a lot of time away from the house. I don't want to leave my dog here for too long by himself, as I don't know what goes on while I'm gone.

I just want to talk to reasonable, logical people who hear out my concerns and actually do something about them. I want everybody in the house to be happy, but they only care about their kids who have children. I'm considering dropping out of school completely so I can focus on finding a full time job, which sucks because I wanted to pursue my dream career of being a veterinary technician.

Giving up Duke is not an option, now or ever.
