Got a bike about a month and a half ago...
And FINALLY got to really ride it today! I have been dreaming of having a Harley since I was a kid and took the MSF course about 7 years ago. I was not able to get a bike until just recently. Watched all the recommended videos and took advice from riders I know, but unfortunately I went down the day I got it. I picked the bike up and parked her in the shed. Walked inside and called the dealer and signed my ass back up for another MSF course. BEST DECISION EVER! I can not recommend the course to new riders enough. Between fear of going down again and being busy with a lot of OT at work I haven't had a lot of time to ride. I finished my course on Friday and although I was weary at first to sit my butt back on the bike I went down on, I just went for it. And you know what? It feels damn good to be on two wheels!! Had a blast riding all day!
If you're a nervous new rider, take the MSF course. You can thank me later.
