Lost almost all recordings from yesterday.

We are running a behringer XR18 and I used my brand new Iphone 7+ to record our rehearsal yesterday. This morning I go and mix a cover of semi charmed life, export it, and go to start on another cover. All the tracks were ruined. Each one was just like a 1 second clip of the recording, looping for the entire track.

I'm not sure what caused it, but I'm wondering if the lightning-3.5mm headphone adapter caused it. I was using that with my in ears while mixing. When I went to open the second track, it had an error that the channel was being used by another input. I dismissed it and discovered the loop issue. I'm also surprised that when you go into a file (song), there's no change history (the undo button). I feel like for all the features GarageBand has and how powerful and popular it is you would think it would save all the edits. I mean I got the 256gb phone with GarageBand being a big reason why.

Anyway, anyone else experience this or know of any way to fix it?
