Explosive Blast Speedfarm without macro + difficulty questions

Hello, since I was wondering about some things concerning Wizard, I decided to ask here : )

Is it viable to use the Explosive Blast build for speedfarming without using a macro (perhaps numlocking the spells is enough?) or is it better to use a different build to speedfarm if you're concerned about getting banned/have no software for that? Also, is Wizard very hard to play solo? I'm not really that interested in group play, so I'd rather stick to solo content, and I don't really intend on being the top of the leaderboards, but I'd be happy to get some progress done without putting a great amount of effort into it.
