20[M] Feeling lost need guidance

Hey Reddit, I am a 20 year old male and my whole life I've never truly known what I've wanted to do after highschool. I was always that kid who never cared about school barely got by and managed to never miss out on any social events and always wanted to be the centre of attention. I've never truly studied a day in my life it was always half-ass just to get by, Wether it was studying for a test or even completing an assignment it was never done to my full potential never.

Four years down the road of basically bullshitting high school I did graduate, And even somehow managed to have decent enough marks to be able to attend university for business. Regrettably within two months of not caring and not studying I dropped out, I managed to not have my marks posted on my transcript so if I ever decided to go back I would not be looked down upon for an acceptance. My future is still a blur of what I want to do, I have some ideas but always put myself down not believng I am intelligent enough and have the proper foundations of which I should have learned throughout high school and I truly believe it is too late to learn all that material now.

I've always wanted to become a doctor but would always brush it off because I don't believe I have what it takes to go through 8-12 years of schooling without any understanding of sciences and mathematics because of not caring during my earlier years which I truly regret right now.. I see my peers advancing in school starting their third year in university while I'm sitting at home working a lousy job not in school and basically having not accomplished anything with my life after high school. I just don't know if I have it in me to cut off my life and friends to just focus on my studies and trying to learn all this material. I need advice on what to do, I know if I told my friends & family my dream I would be laughed at saying how I'm not made for school and becoming a trades man would be my best bet... maybe they are right.
