[Discussion] Should I give up jailbreak for an Apple Watch?

So I've finally decided to get an Apple Watch s1 and after some research concluded that the only watchOS versions compatible with IOS 10.2 are those below 3.1.3, so what should I do if the Watch comes with a higher version?

I could give up my jailbreak for the watch, but I really love it, or I could send the watch back and look for one on 3.1.3 or below. What would you do/did you do?

Also, is it possible to ask for a watch on a specific version in an Apple Store? Like can they use the serial number to find out what os it's running and give me the one I want?
