Maker Select V2.1 - Dead Melzi?

My printer is acting up. Display is solid white and it won't connect to Octoprint on USB. Extruder, controller, and PS fans are running. I opened it and everything seems connected. I don't see anything burned on the Melzi. Internal and external resets do nothing.

I just turned it on this morning and set the extruder to 245 to change filament. When I looked back it was rebooting and the display came up white. I didn't even turn the bed on. Power supply is giving good 12V.

What else to check?

edit: No L1 LED, ever. 12V all good on PS. I disconnected all steppers no diff. Moved the USB jumper, no diff. Checked e-temp continuity good from Melzi to thermistor connector. Thermistor reads 189Kohm cold at Melzi connector.
