What's the best hero to use for somebody with little-to-no experience playing Overwatch?

I'm an established player but sometimes when friends come over we'll play around on quick play. I used to always give them roadhog since he had a lot of health, could pretty easily get kills, and didn't have too many mechanics, but now that he has been nerfed into the ground I've been struggling to find a good hero to give them and they just end up getting killed really easily every time. Who do you guys suggest?
