Drumline Audition Help Needed

To be tagged...

My high school band is relatively small, about 45 players, but we have always had a somewhat complete and fairly well drumline. This past year we had 4 snares, 2 tenor/quads, 5 basses, and 4 cymbals. Some of the horn players in our band double as drumline members to fill the spots. I am a tuba player who doubled as a cymbal player last year, but for this upcoming year, our line has lost a bass drummer, so our director opened the spot for anyone who was previously on drumline to audition, and I plan on auditioning. The problem is: for the audition music our band director gave us a completely unknown cadence, titled R-Dub, that she said she got from her colleague, with no audio or anything. I really want this spot, because I am going to be a senior next year and I plan on pursuing a career in music education (and some day become a band director), and i know a lot about brass and woodwind instrumentation, I just would like to have experience on drums too, (not just cymbals). I know a bit about drumline music, its just I've only played cymbals and bass drum music is a lot different than cymbal music. The spot that I'm auditioning for is bass 2, which i know is the top space of the staff, I just don't really know how it should sound. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
