Just an idea I had to make the late game less RNG, probably has been suggested before.
I'm fine with the safezones in the first 2/3 of the game being complete and utter RNG, everyone regardless of where they are on the map will have time to get inside it and that's completely fine with me. But let's take real late game scenarios, like 1v1 for instance. The third person view in this game will ALWAYS give the defending player a HUGE advantage, so when you're up alone against one guy and you're both just waiting for the last safezone to show itself. The circle decides to end up on you, leaving the other player to be the attacker and you the defender. With the third person view you again have an overwhelming advantage. He's practically chanceless as you can just Q and E peek when the time is right and you know he can't shoot back, and the other guy has no option but to push since he will die to the circle if he doesn't move. So I personally don't really like this scenario since the victor is essentially decided by 90% RNG.
So what if we made the last couple of safezones always end up in the exact middle of the previous one? That would eliminate most of the RNG and both players would be on more equal terms.
How do you feel about this idea? It's entirely possible that I'm dumb or something, but feel free to point out why, I'd really like to know because right now I'm really really frustrated by losing to RNG.
