One beer a little overrated?

I started getting into DOOM recently and the first song that came up was One Beer. I listened to it, and found it to be refreshing to hear real rapping in comparison to the mediocre rap of modern day. After listening to his other songs though, One Beer doesn't really stand out to me, and I'm not sure how it has become his most popular song. Other Mmm.. Food songs like potholderz and hoe cakes seem to be much better songs than One Beer, which just gets to be a little tiring to hear Doom rap over the same looped beat. Am I missing something?
