Why doesn't store-uk.nin.com know the difference between USD and GBP currencies?

Nearly all of the prices in UK shop are the same or even higher than the ones in US store. Sandbag(?) just assumed the 1:1 currency exchange rate which doesn't make any sense and is a bit unfair towards people located in Europe.

Can anybody think of a reason for that?
