TIFU by underestimating the power of LSD residue
Obligatory "this didn't happen today and this is my first time ever posting".
Our story begins one Sunday on an uneventful weekend near the end of 2016. I was a mere 19 year old ready to experiment all sorts of new things with my 28 year old roommate who we will nickname George here. George had some friends that invited us to enjoy some dank acid.
For those of you that don't know (and those of you that do, feel free to correct me on my ignorance), acid usually comes in paper tabs that are sprinkled with droplets before hand. Therefore, acid in its purest form is literally acid, so imagine this vial you usually see in doctor tv shows filled with the liquid of galaxies beyond ours. You take this acid by using this small turkey baster and dropping a droplet of unknown amounts of LSD onto your tongue, varying from a tab to 3-5 tabs.
I didn't use the mini turkey baster.
When George and I got to his friend's house, the vial was already mostly empty and shared among two loving couples. Me being a chill guy and the youngest one there, I let George have the rest of the vial. He didn't want me feeling left out and so he had an idea that would rival Einstein's theory of relativity. He went on to mix the empty vial with alcohol and allowed me to down the leftovers.
(Cue the 2001: A Space Odyssey theme)
Mind you, this wasn't really my first time with lsd, HOWEVER, this was my first REAL experience of an acid high and pardon my French but ffuuuuuuuuuuuuuck man. The trip lasted for at least 4 hours and it led to me and George coining the phrase "Earth-too too too too too too (the # of "too"s in this phrase depends on how shitfaced wasted you are) much" named after DC comics, Earth-2.
George, being a proper concerned citizen, was completely worried for me and knew that I had school the next day. So 30 to 40 minutes into the high, he brought me into his car and (DON'T WORRY, he didn't drive under the influence) we just sat there.
I proceeded to be in this thought loop limbo trying to find the center of the universe. It went from the green glow in the dark Superman Funko Pop figure in the car to the Amy Winehouse music playing to the Marilyn Monroe screensaver to the Green Bay Packers car mat. I honestly thought that Marilyn was the only woman in the world and that she's the center of the universe as Amy winehouse sings in the background.
Then the Disneyland fireworks came on, the Disneyland in Anaheim that literally has fireworks on every night around 9 or so. George and I sat there gazing the fireworks. Really a euphoric experience when you're tripping.
I wanted to escape the car and go back to George's friend's house to "follow the music", leading to George trying to calm me down by saying the cops are after us. Dude, I was paranoid and saying the cops are after us was not helping. You can't blame George though, he just wanted to have fun and I pooped the party and forgot who I was.
Finally, George and I were home and then the cops pulled up behind us in the driveway.
Hahahaa lol jk lmfao no, it was just our other roommate pulling up behind us in a white car.
George ran into the house, mixed some sleeping pills into a vitaminwater, and gave it to me. I calmed down, sobered up, and I finally remembered my name and my birthday.
TL;DR I took the residue of an empty vial (and ended up on Earth too-too-t-too-to-too-too-t-too much), tripped too hard and freaked my roomie out.
TTTTTTL;DR George is the homie
