As a hapa, what do you think of full Asians?
As a full Asian born in the US, I've found that hapas are nowhere in my social circle. They've been at the schools I've attended, my workplaces - but they've never been anywhere near me, really. And there are plenty of hapas in my area. It seems the 70s-80s had lots of intermarriage between white men and Asian women.
I'm seeing a lot of full Asians in this hapa sub. I think we get here by reading the posts of others who originally posted in Asian subs. It's the Asian threads/posts that got us here, not the hapa subject matter.
Anyway, what do hapas think of full Asians? I'm sure there's lots of variability, with some hapas only hanging out in white circles, and others in mixed groups. It probably depends on where you live, and what you look like. If you're Asian-passing, do you tend to hang out with and date/marry full Asians? If you're white-passing, do your friends all tend to be white?
