Starting a band in Atlanta

Well maybe not a band, but I've been learning guitar for about a year and half now on my own and I'd at least like to jam/learn how to jam. I'd like to do a 4 person thing with someone as lead, me at rythm and then a bass and drummer. Any advice on starting a band/where to look/ want to just jam a little with a noob?
