Has anyone done any research on lack of sleep and the French Revolution?

I remember hearing in lecture once that many of the revolutionaries were not sleeping much. While not wanting to make a monocausal explanation, I am somewhat curious if there are historians who work on how different regimes of sleep (lack of sleep) might have affected events, either in the French Revolution or in more generally. If anything, this seems like something that could influence diplomacy a lot. (Because diplomats might be working long hours, have little sleep, be irritable or less rational for that reason, etc.)
