[No Spoilers] DVD extra interviews (Al Strobel, Richard Beymer)
My introduction to the magical world of Twin Peaks happened in 2006 via a DVD collection that I watched in the United States (although I'm not sure what the region was on the actual DVDs)... I own the gold box set now, but I still think all the time about the special features on that first DVD set.
I'm trying to figure out exactly what edition/release this is so that I can buy it (the original one was borrowed), because the menus all had really incredible sound design, and the special features menu had a web with little bubbles for many of the actors from the show, and when you clicked on a bubble, it would pull up a full interview with the actor about whatever random topic they wanted to discuss. I vividly remember some of these because they were AMAZING!
Al Strobel tells the remarkable story about how he lost his arm (this interview made me fall in love with Al Strobel), Sheryl Lee discusses why she's an animal-rights activist, and Richard Beymer blew my mind by describing what happened the first time he did ayahuasca (this was the first time I had ever heard of ayahuasca, and the interview really stuck with me).
I wish I could find the interview clips (especially the Al Strobel and Richard Beymer ones!) online, but they're either not around or I'm not looking in the right places. Does anyone here know which version of the DVDs contains these interviews? Many thanks!
